The ERC Synergy NEMESIS project is opening several post-doctoral positions at the IMAG (University of Montpellier, France).
NEMESIS revolves around theoretical and practical aspects of compatible polytopal methods. The initial duration of each position will be one year, renewable up to two times.
Candidates are expected to have a strong background in Numerical
Analysis and/or Scientific Computing, and a knowledge of common partial
differential equations models arising in various branches of physics.
An in-depth knowledge of compatible finite element methods and/or
polytopal methods will be a distinctive advantage. Programming
experience (C++ preferred) will also be a valuable addition.The successful applicants will be hosted at IMAG, a joint research unit
of University of Montpellier and CNRS, and one of the hubs of
