We’re offering a fully-funded PhD position at the intersection of AI, transportation systems, and urban traffic management.
The research will focus on cutting-edge learning-based methods (e.g., deep reinforcement learning, graph-based modeling) to tackle real-world challenges in urban traffic signal control—a rapidly evolving and impactful field.
You’ll be part of LICIT-ECO7, an interdisciplinary research lab working at the crossroads of transportation systems, data science, operations research, and urban planning.
The lab maintains an active scientific presence through publications in top-tier journals and collaborations with world-class institutions like TU Delft, MIT, UC Berkeley, and ETH Zurich.🌍 Located in Lyon, LICIT-ECO7 is a joint research unit between ENTPE and Université Gustave Eiffel, contributing to the future of smart and sustainable urban mobility.
